This restoration solution was specifically designed to assist you if are suffering from missing teeth and limited jawbone density which then requires a bone graft. How All On 4 Dental Implants Work

Most of the planning is done at your initial evaluation, setting you up for a smooth, efficient procedure. To start, Implant Dentistry and Periodontics will take a Cone Beam CT scan to fully evaluate all facets of your jaw, such as bone density or bone loss. Next, we will establish the final look of your planned replacement teeth and any of your needs for your procedure. After this pre-work, a dental lab will create a guided surgical template, which will allow us to place your dental implants precisely where they were planned using state-of-the-art software. This position also allows the lab to fabricate your temporary teeth that will be placed onto your implants the same day of your surgery and complete your procedure with the upmost of efficiency.

At the beginning of your procedure, any loose or unhealthy teeth will be extracted. We will then surgically place your titanium, All on 4, dental implants. After we have completed this procedure, we will place your temporary teeth. This set of temporary teeth will be worn through your healing process. After your gums and jawbone have completely healed from the procedure, the set of permanent teeth will be placed at a follow-up appointment. Post-procedure healing time is minimal for all-on-4® dental implants, and you may even return to work or your regular activity the following day. For a few months after your procedure, your gums and jawbone will heal and reach osseointegration. This means that your jaw and gums will slowly bond with your implants, forming a secure, healthy integration of your dental implants to your jaw. We will schedule a follow-up appointment six months from your surgery to complete your teeth in a day procedure.

All On 4 Aftercare

Much like your natural teeth, it is important that you maintain good daily cleaning habits, including daily brushing and flossing. In addition to practicing good daily self-care, the most important thing you can do to continue taking care of your oral health is to schedule regular visits with us every six months. During these routine checkups, your periodontist can monitor the overall state of your oral health and determine how well your All-on-4 implants are doing and catch any additional issues before they develop. By maintaining these habits, you will be well on your way to preventing additional issues from developing in the future.

Cost of All on Four

Like most dental procedures, the final cost will be determined by a variety of factors, such as the severity of your case, anesthesia or sedation used, number of appointments, lab materials, and what type of insurance plan you currently have. We can provide you with a more accurate estimate following your 3D CT scan.

Our practice does accept most dental insurance programs and will be happy to submit a pre-treatment estimate to your insurance company so you can determine what your benefits will be. Or, if you are not currently covered by insurance or have concerns about the final cost, our staff will be happy to discuss other financial arrangements with you.
