Teeth in a day are replacement teeth teeth that utilize just four dental implants. Teeth in a Day are a beautiful new set of permanent teeth that can become your new smile in a one-day procedure.

Teeth in a day are replacement teeth that utilize just four dental implants. Teeth in a Day are a beautiful new set of permanent teeth that can become your new smile in a one-day procedure. The dental implants in the procedure are placed at an angle, allowing for increased contact by utilizing the natural support of your jawbone.

Teeth-in-a-Day is a safe and precise approach to dental implants that provides you with fully functioning dental implants in just one single procedure. To begin the process, Implant Dentistry and Periodontics will start by taking a scan of your entire jawbone to qualify its overall health. With this initial scan, we will be able to develop a personal implant placement plan. Unlike traditional dentures that are supported with implants, Teeth-in-a-Day reduces the need for multiple appointments and shortens your overall healing process, which can easily take several months through traditional methods.

The professionals at Implant Dentistry and Periodontics will insure you understand the benefits of a “teeth in a day” restoration. We offer a wide range of different periodontal and dental implant services that can benefit all patients. Our conscientious staff focuses on providing superior service for your overall oral health. We will address your dental procedure in a quiet and stress-free environment, and we will approach your unique dental care as an important partner on your health care team. If you have questions about the benefits of teeth in a day for your lifestyle, call our Indianapolis office at 317-574-0600 or our Fishers office at 317-842-2273 to schedule your appointment today.

We can give you full-arch replacement teeth that are securely fixed in your arch, that look totally natural, have close to full biting and chewing power and will not slip or irritate your gums like conventional dentures. With this special implant-supported restoration, your biting and chewing power will go from about 10% with regular dentures to over 85% of normal power. For you, this means you can eat whatever you want.

Are You an Ideal Candidate for Teeth in One Day?

A consultation with Implant Dentistry and Periodontics is the best way to determine your candidacy for the Teeth in One Day procedure. We will conduct a comprehensive dental exam to evaluate if this procedure will be the appropriate solution for your specific needs.

You might be a good candidate for Teeth in One Day if you:

  • Have one or even several missing or damaged teeth.
  • Wish to see an immediate cosmetic and functional dental improvement.
  • Have sufficient jawbone density in the specific implant area.
  • Have healthy oral soft tissue.
  • Want a restoration treatment that can last a lifetime with proper care.
  • Do not grind your teeth excessively, day or night.
  • Do not have existing medical conditions that will negatively affect bone healing.
  • Want a successful alternative to either dentures or bridgework.

Teeth in A Day Treatment versus Dental Implants

The term dental implants refer to a procedure where Implant Dentistry and Periodontics surgically places small titanium posts into your jawbone below the gum line and then places an artificial crown, replacement bridge or set of replacement teeth in a denture tray on the implanted anchoring post. Dental implants have made significant technological improvements over the past few decades, but there is still the possibility that if you have missing teeth it may not be your best option.

For you, Teeth-in-a-Day may be a better option. Provided you meet the necessary profile qualifications, Teeth-in-a-Day have many significant benefits when compared to traditional dental implants.

Precise Planning and Preparation is Crucial for a Teeth in a Day Procedure

To determine the exact number of implants to be placed and the precise and best placement positions, we start with a 3D CT scan of your jaw. The 3D images created by the scan shows us where the jawbone is strongest and where it provides the greatest stability. From these images we will plan specifically where the implants will be placed and how many implants will be used. If any bone grafting is needed to augment the stability of the implants it is planned at this same time.

The Actual Teeth in a Day Procedure

After your initial consultation, the defining 3D scans and the development of your implant plan, we can begin implementation. If you did not meet necessary qualifications, we will provide you with a list of alternative treatment options.

Implant Dentistry and Periodontics will begin with the administration of a local anesthetic. Once the four areas are sufficiently numb, we will surgically place the implants in the strategic positions based on your plan. With the degree of placement, we are able to attach teeth at this same time. We can and will create an impression of your arch and have a final restoration fabricated at a dental lab for completion of a perfect replacement solution.
